What an asshole

This is a whale watching boat in Bahia de Scorpiones, way south on the Baja peninsula in Mexico. It's also shaped like a Whale, although it has a dorsal fin, just like a shark's. The roof is made of heavy fiberglass, and I can imagine it was so unstable when tourists piled in and puttered seaward through the rollers that it's captain became afraid to pilot it.

The Long Shot also found three dead dolphins on this beach. Buzzards were feasting on their guts at sunset. At a cantina later that day, an American ex-pat told me red tide killed them. The ex-pat was mustachioed, opinionated and hateful toward American visitors - just like most ex-pats in Mexico, or anywhere for that matter. Never be an ex-pat.
